CUPUM 2025 (UCL)
I had an amazing time attending the 19th International Conference on Computational Urban Planning and Urban Management (CUPUM) in London from 23rd to 26th June 2024. It was such a great opportunity to connect with researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from all over the world, all passionate about using computational methods to tackle urban challenges. A big thank you to UCL for hosting this incredible event and providing such a welcoming and inspiring environment!

Presentation
During the conference, I presented my work titled "Decoding Characteristics of Building Facades Using Street View Imagery and Vision-Language Model". It was an incredible experience to share my research and receive valuable feedback from experts in the field.

During the conference, I presented my work titled "Decoding Characteristics of Building Facades Using Street View Imagery and Vision-Language Model". This study explores a novel approach to encoding building facade characteristics in urban areas using street view imagery and vision-language models. By analyzing 48,752 building images in Hong Kong, we identified eight building clusters aligned with geometric footprints city-wide. Our findings demonstrate the potential of scalable SVI-based analyses to bridge visual and linguistic domains, offering deeper insights into the built environment.
